ENGAGMENT
We believe in community with accountability. Community can be found at a gym, bar, work, or your local library. What differentiates the church is accountability to push through the low moments and remain grounded in the Word of Christ.
SonShine Kids
Ministry Lead: Cecilia Garcia
Our nursery time is more than babysitting. It is an opportunity to have your young ones receive a bible-based message during service, while still allowing them to get their wiggles out. Each week our team is dedicated to investing their time to teach God's love to young minds.
AGES: 15 months - completion of 5yrs
Meeting Time: Every Sunday immediately after Worship.
Ecstatic Kids
Ministry Lead: Veronica Diaz
Ecstatic is a time for kids to grow in God's word and build a community with others who love Jesus as Lord! Each meeting there is a message geared toward teaching and applying God's word to their life.

Youth Group
Ministry Lead: Walker & Grace McDonough
There is a wide variety of development happening during these teenage years. Through youth group, students are able to ask questions in a safe environment and are given biblical guidance to ground their relationship with Jesus as their personal Lord!

Meeting Time: 1st Sunday of each month

Women's Group

The Women of CM meet once a month to discuss key points found through a book study. This is a great time to engage and be empowered with women of great faith through community with accountability.

Mom's Group
Ministry Lead: Aubrey Rodriguez
The Mom's of CM meet every Thursday at the church to be empowered in the role of a wife, mother, and a daughter of God. This is a great time to recalibrate and press into the priorities of life, while maintaining grounded in the Word.

TEAM
Serving is one of the greatest ways to press into the life of the church by using your gifts and talents. Be a part of building the church community through your acts of service. There are different opportunities available, with varying expectations.
WORSHIP
Ministry Lead: Aubrey Rodriguez
We are looking for genuine and skilled worshipers, not simply musicians. We believe that worship team members should exemplify what it means to worship in spirit and in truth and should lead the congregation by genuinely and authentically engaging in worship as they lead on and off the stage.
MEDIA

If you are interested in multimedia production and Social Media, we would love to hear from you! Our media team helps connect those who have missed or are not connect yet to our church.
CM ACADEMY

If you are a parent who has a student in CMA and are wanting to help by serving in a class room, then Christian Ministries academic ministry might be a great fit. More than teaching, we are ministering and developing the next generation in wholesome teaching with a biblical worldview.
MEALS
Ministry Lead: Guillermo Rodriguez
The meals ministry primarily operates from April - October. This is a great time to exercise your culinary artistic skills to feed the multitude in a practical way. Not a chef but want to help cover the cost. Let us know. All meals are covered by the individuals cooking, so help offset that cost for them.
HOSPITALITY

Our hospitality team specialize in welcoming and helping people get connected to the local body. This includes providing information of every community engagement. This is more than a welcome team, but a team dedicated to recognize the special occasions of each member.
OVERFLOW
Ministry Lead: Barbara Lopez
The Overflow is where coffee meets community. Ranging from sweet drinks to a cup of joe, this team adds the flavor that keeps the energy going. Full training is offered. Help make drinks, take orders, or wash dishes. If you are willing to learn and serve, this might be an excellent opportunity.
SECURITY

CM Church’s Safety & Security team helps facilitate a safe environment where people can connect and grow in their relationship with God. Whether you have a medical, military, law enforcement, or security background or not, we have opportunities for willing servants to plug in and join the team.
FACILITIES

The facilities team help create an excellent environment that produces a pleasing aroma. This team helps in maintaining clean and safe classrooms, rids the floors of stains, keeps things organized, and maintains restrooms. .

The Lord is constantly working in our city and through every nation. It is imperative for every believer to sow in seeds to enhance the spread of the Gospel in to all regions where there is darkness. Sowing in to Christian Ministries also sows into these ministries.
MANOS EXTENDIDOS
Manos Extendidas (Extended Hands) is a registered Christian ministry in Tegucigalpa, Honduras that demonstrates Jesus’ love by meeting the physical and educational needs of families, teens, and children. These practical acts of love build strong relationships that enable us to share the good news of Gospel so we can introduce them to Jesus Christ.
ELIJAH RISING
Elijah Rising was founded in 2012 as a prayer gathering that focused on ending sex trafficking in Houston. Across Houston women and girls were being sold for sex, but there was little outcry, so Elijah Rising began hosting Van Tours and showing the public that sex trafficking is happening across our city.
